Skire is committed to continually supporting accessibility laws and maintaining strict compliance with the accessibility standards in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. 794d). Skire’s products provide support for leading assistive technologies* and incorporate features that ensure accessibility and usability by individuals with disabilities. In addition, at Skire we foster a culture of sensitivity to those with disabilities, and good usability design standards are ingrained into many aspects of Skire’s products to benefit all users. Skire product management and development staff are trained not only on relevant laws and guidelines including Section 508, but also on actionable requirements based on their role in the product development lifecycle. With every release, Skire products are rigorously tested using 3rd party tools as a gauge for accessibility and usability for individuals with disabilities, including compatibility with existing assistive technologies.
