The Unifier™ DMS also supports project audits. Time stamps indicate who has downloaded, edited, and revised documents.

Advanced features enable you to "Lock" a file, "Check In/Check Out" documents, and automatically resolve all CAD reference files. The system also supports naming conventions and configurable document metadata.

Flexible Structuring

You have complete flexibility in structuring folders. The DMS supports an unlimited number of folders, subfolders, and file uploads. Create a variety of folder structure templates, including templates that automatically change based on the requirements of a specific project lifecycle phase. These are several options:

  • A master folder structure to standardize across all organization projects
  • Ability to structure folders at the project or program level, for standardization across all projects within a given program.

Collaboration with Embedded Viewer

Unifier™ supports commenting on files by the ways - either adding a text comment to a file, attaching a file as a comment on another file, or through redlines and markups using Unifier™ 's universal viewing technology that allows users to view and mark up hundreds of file types without requiring the native application on their desktops.

Native Application Viewing

Unifier™ also allows users to view a file in its native application if that application is installed on the user's system. This enables project teams to quickly and easily collaborate using a variety of file types in a familiar environment.

Easy to Deploy

Because Unifier™ is a Web-based system, all internal and external users with a properly configured Internet browser can access project files without requiring additional software or plug-ins.
