Space Management
When managing facilities of any size, it is critical to understand all aspects of your current space use as well as the impact of future plans. Unifier’s Space Manager facilitates this by providing clear insight into the type, size, costs, quality, sustainability and use of all of the organization’s space, helping you maximize space efficiency and reduce Total Cost of Occupancy at both the portfolio and workspace levels.
The Space Manager is integrated with Autodesk AutoCAD to allow you to manage your floor plan drawings from within both Unifier and AutoCAD. This facilitates the visual manipulation of data and rapid identification of space opportunities for strategic planning, vacancies, restacking or sub-lease opportunities. Each workspace can be assigned to assets, people, departments and/or business units to support both tactical location tracking and strategic long-term planning. Additionally, this direct interaction with the drawing allows you to automatically manage allocations, track use and issue charge-backs of space based upon actual area usage.
At the strategic level, Unifier can be used to track overall inventory of space, track current and planned occupancy and allocate costs according to specific business rules. And all of this can be reported in daily detailed reports or graphically-focused dashboards for easy processing.
Move Management (MAC)
Whether moving a single person or restacking entire buildings, Unifier’s Space Manager and move management (MAC) tools facilitate not only strategic planning and tactical reassignments of spaces, but also the move itself. By interfacing with HR, IT, telecom, third-party vendors, and space and portfolio planning teams, the MAC tools help streamline the entire process, reducing the associated complexity, risk, time, cost, and downtime. Configurable work orders and automatic routing help manage the entire process, from requests through approvals, to execution of moves and post-occupancy evaluations.
