KeyBank Selects Skire Unifier as IWMS Solution

KEYBANK SELECTS SKIRE UNIFIER AS INTEGRATED WORKPLACE
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (IWMS)

Technology platform to provide enterprise-wide Real Estate, Asset, Transaction, Space and Capital Project Management

MENLO PARK, Calif., April 14, 2011 – Skire, Inc. (www.skire.com), the leading global provider of solutions for managing capital projects, facilities, and real estate, today announced that KeyBank National Association (KeyBank) (www.key.com) has chosen Skire’s Unifier as the company’s new Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). Unifier was selected after a formal evaluation considering all of the major Gartner IWMS Magic Quadrant vendors.

Cleveland-based KeyCorp is one of the nation’s largest bank-based financial services companies, with assets of approximately $92 billion. Key operates 1,040 branch offices in 14 states, a network of more than 1,500 ATMs, state-of-the-art call centers, and employs over 15,000 individuals.

“We were looking for a partner and a system to help take our real estate and construction management practices to the next level, and Skire stood out based upon its reputation for delivering on the promise of technology,” said Patrick Podmore, Vice President of Real Estate Solutions. “We are very excited about our relationship with Skire and look forward to realizing the benefits of an IWMS solution.”

KeyBank will leverage Skire’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application, eliminating the time and cost of maintaining the IT environment otherwise required for internally hosted solutions. Phase 1 of the implementation will replace internally developed systems for Property Portfolio, Lease and Transaction Management, followed by Asset Management, Condition Assessment, and Project Management. By consolidating all of the management functions across the facility and real estate lifecycle into a common platform, KeyBank will gain unprecedented visibility and business intelligence to drive strategic decisions for the company.

Key Bank represents the second Fortune 500 financial services firm in recent months to select Skire as their IWMS provider.

“With the coming shift in FASB lease accounting guidelines, organizations with large real estate portfolios face a high degree of uncertainty,” said Massy Mehdipour, chief executive officer of Skire. “We look forward to delivering the expert advice and software solutions that will enable KeyBank to maintain a high level of agility through this period of major transition.”
