New York-Presbyterian Hospital Chooses Skire Unifier

Skire Platform Key to Hospital’s Strategic Upgrade
of Facilities Management Capabilities

MENLO PARK, CA, March 5, 2008 – Skire, Inc. (www.skire.com), the leading provider of capital program, integrated workplace, and project portfolio management software, today announced that its flagship Unifier™ platform has been chosen by New York-Presbyterian Hospital, one of the most comprehensive university hospitals in the world. The agreement marks another prestigious addition to Skire’s customer base in the healthcare market.

New York-Presbyterian chose Skire Unifier as its backbone capital enterprise project management system across its portfolio of hospitals and associated buildings. Unifier is a key element of the hospital’s current initiative to upgrade its facilities planning and project management capabilities, led by Louis F. Reuter, IV, senior vice president, facilities development and real estate.

“Skire Unifier stands out for its orientation to meeting facility owners’ needs,” said Matthias Ebinger, manager of enterprise project management systems for New York-Presbyterian Hospital. “The platform supports critical components of the asset life cycle, including major capital projects in our upcoming ten-year strategic plan. It provides our managers on all levels with an intuitive tool that accommodates their working styles while standardizing business processes. We also expect that Unifier will support our capital planning activities and facilitate project integration with our engineering, biomedical, and IT departments.”

When fully implemented, the Skire solution will enable the hospital to integrate its planning and management processes, providing managers with consistent, up-to-the-minute data on costs, status, variances, and schedules. Integration with the hospital’s enterprise resource planning system is expected to improve visibility into project accounting and payment tracking.

“We are pleased to be working with New York-Presbyterian and to support their vision for highly efficient, integrated capital program and facilities management,” said John Leet, director of marketing at Skire. “Efficient asset management has a direct impact on quality of patient care. When repair, maintenance, and capital projects can be completed efficiently and cost-effectively, the hospital can direct even more of its attention to its core mission.”

Skire Unifier is a powerful business process automation platform for managing programs, projects, resources, and assets. The platform centralizes comprehensive management capabilities and makes them available to everyone who needs them through a standard Web browser. With robust cost management and project controls capabilities, Skire’s Unifier delivers the best combination of pre-defined workflows, best practices, ease-of-use, and adaptability.
