Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Selects Skire Unifier for
Comprehensive Capital Project Management Solution

Innovative Software-as-a-Service Model and Configurability Key to Decision

MENLO PARK, Calif., March 3, 2010 – Skire, Inc. (www.skire.com), the leading provider of capital program, facilities, real estate and project portfolio management software, today announced that its Unifier™ solution has been selected by the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) for its comprehensive capital project management capabilities. DFW joins an extensive roster of major U.S. airports to choose Skire Unifier.

A primary goal of DFW was to procure a system solution that would improve the overall management and fiscal accountability of all capital construction projects airport-wide. One key requirement was that the solution be web-based and deployed as a service. Skire will host and maintain the solution, reducing operational costs for the airport when compared to traditional packaged software solutions. Unifier’s full range of capabilities will support the airport’s common capital program management business processes that define action, policy and measurement from project inception through completion.

Unifier’s configurability and ease of use were other key factors in its selection. With Unifier, DFW will be able to create and change workflow processes as needed without requiring custom programming. The service will retrieve and aggregate data, provide roll-up and drilldown capabilities from numerous sources, and present a common set of results in a consistent, structured, user-friendly way based on the airport’s defined rules and parameters. As a result, Unifier will provide information access, support interaction, and facilitate coordination with all internal and external project stakeholders. Users will include employees from numerous airport departments, as well as consultants, contractors, designers, and stakeholders.

"Effectively managing capital programs within organizations as large and complex as the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport demands vision and commitment to best practices," said John Leet, director of marketing for Skire. “We are delighted to have met the airport’s rigorous requirements and we look forward to working with such an outstanding team.”

The selection by DFW extends Skire’s position in the transportation industry by adding another leading organization that will leverage Unifier for managing programs, projects, resources, and assets. With robust cost management and project controls capabilities, Skire’s Unifier delivers the best combination of pre-defined workflows, best practices, ease of use, and adaptability.

DFW is the third busiest airport in the world, located within a four-hour flight time of 95 percent of the U.S. population. It is a leading passenger and cargo facility and the primary economic engine of North Texas, generating $16.6 billion in economic impact, supporting 305,000 jobs, and disbursing $7.6 billion in payroll.
